Why finish-sensitive vehicles go touchless

A wrapped or liveried vehicle that must not be touched needs a wash that reaches every panel without contact. The ACROBAT 2X does this with two arms that move on six axes, read the vehicle profile and clean the front, back, sides and top.

The wash uses chemical foam at 20-30 gr per vehicle and water from a 100 or 200 bar pump, sent through nozzles that vibrate and pulse. A pressure adjustment valve sets the force. The foam spraying and high-pressure systems have 3D capabilities, so they follow the vehicle shape.

Drying is part of the same machine. The ACROBAT 2X can wash and dry, with 33 kW installed for drying.

Inverters control every movement of the arms, with speed options, and the machine offers various washing programs. Every metal part of the frame is hot-dip galvanized and finished with electrostatic paint, and the machine carries a 12-month warranty with service from Greenacres, Florida.

Larger liveried vehicles

Vehicles taller or wider than 2.20 m need a bigger machine. For buses, coaches, rigid trucks, vans and trailers, Europe Makine points to the SUNRISE gantry, which washes to 4.20 m high and 2.85 m wide on the W4000.

SUNRISE takes an optional brushless high-pressure Hydrowash for liveried vehicles. Its water robots work at 20 and 30 bar, sense the size of the vehicle, soften dirt with chemicals first and reach indented and protruding surfaces.

The SUNRISE W4700 is the taller machine, for double-deck coaches and high-cube trailers. A fleet that runs liveried cars and liveried coaches can be quoted for both machines in one proforma request to Europe Makine.
